A 2-day event to celebrate highly acclaimed Japanese filmworks and its directors, producers and production that brought them to life. Through exclusive screenings, panels and receptions of Hollywood-centered U.S. film industry members, J-SCREEN hosts impactful networking opportunities.

Day 1

ーFeature Film Showingー

Held at the prestigious Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Feature Film Showing invited guests exclusively from the forefront of the film industry, including AMPAS members and media. A networking reception was followed by a panel discussion by internationally acclaimed director Hirokazu Kore-eda. The night ended with a screening of Cloud, a 97th Academy Awards Internation Feature Film Awards nominee representing Japan. Guests filled the screening venue to capacity, expressing high praise regarding the feature film and expressed high hopes for the future of Japanese cinema.

Day 2

ーFilmworks Showingー

A private, invite-only event held at Neue House Hollywood, where many major media distributors also hold premieres of their most popular works. The event highlighted the most-talked-about filmworks of Japan to a large number of influencers, media and U.S./Japan industry professionals working in the drama and TV series sector. With an enthusiastic crowd, the night began with a panel discussion of Japanese media professionals currently working in Hollywood, continued to a spotlight showcase and presentation of Japanese filmworks, all alongside an enthusiastic and active networking reception.
